Bo Werner Eriksson teaches art and color theory. Born in Sweden, he began painting at seventeen and moved to Switzerland in 1978, where he earned a master’s degree in painting at the Goetheanum before teaching for eleven years at an art school. In 1995, he moved with his family to Norway, studied eurythmy, earned a professional certificate, and taught art for many years at the Oslo Waldorf School. He moved to Germany in 2000, established his own studio, and continued teaching. In 2005 he returned to Sweden and built his own home and studio. Eriksson focuses on the process of color rather than only the result. He specializes in color theory; relationships among color, children’s temperaments, and natural elements; color movement and color eurythmy; watercolor, form drawing, blackboard drawing, and painted-wall performance art. He has studied the Book of Changes and the Dao De Jing and greatly admires Chinese painting. He has taught at Spring Valley Academy since 2011.
